Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle presented a $15,000 grant to the Stevens Point Area Convention and Visitor Bureau (CVB) and H2O Development of Plover, LLC to secure the 2006 World University Water Ski Championships taking place at the new Centre Lakes AquaPlex in Plover. 

 

The check was awarded during a "Capital for the Day" reception in Stevens Point. Accepting  the grant are Scott Coley: Wisconsin Water Ski Federation: Scott Neale: H2O Development; Sara Brish and Tom Barrrett: CVB; Jim Holperin: Wis. Dept. of Tourism Secretary and Holly Neale: H2O Development.
